Everyone is invited to join in the discussion., Liu is an author, educator and civic entrepreneur. He is the founder of the Guiding Lights Network, an organization dedicated to promoting great citizenship, and the True Patriot Network, dedicated to promoting progressive civic values. He served as a White House speechwriter and the deputy domestic policy adviser for President Clinton. As the first major American world's fair after World War II, it presented an optimistic vision of a future improved through science and technology and promoted Seattle to the world as a space-age city. Exhibits focused on industry, commerce, science and the future, but also included fine arts, food and entertainment.
