 in Washington State. The film highlights four youth from Burma\, Nepal/B
 hutan\, Russia and Somalia.\n\nViewers will walk away with greater insig
 ht and appreciation for what it takes to adjust to life here in the Unit
 ed States.\n\nIn their own voice\, each youth shares stories\, experienc
 es\, struggles and successes about life before and after resettling in t
 he United States. The youth speak candidly about the situations that bro
 ught their families here\, their initial resettlement experience\, and o
 ngoing challenges as their families adjust to life in the United States.
  They also discuss hopes and excitement about opportunities. \n\nThe you
 th in this documentary were filmed at school\, home\, after-school activ
 ities and community events. They also contributed self-filmed footage.

 xplore the memories\, memorabilia and myths of Seattle's 1962 World's Fa
 ir through a series of free community-wide workshops.  \n\nCo-hosted by 
 The Seattle Public Library\, King County Library System and the Seattle 
 Center Foundation\, this series of workshops and seminars will teach you
  the skills needed to discover\, document\, and distribute the fascinati
 ng histories of one of Seattle’s most influential events through the use
  of personal experiences and collections.\n\nIntroductory workshops revi
 ew the basic history of the Fair\, and introduce participants to the his
 torical research skills needed to explore Century 21 memories\, souvenir
 s and legacies. \n\nFollow-up seminars will guide you in developing a re
 search project and introduce you to other Century 21 enthusiasts\, with 
 the goal of creating a project that can be shared with and celebrated by
  the community at our closing summit\, scheduled for Saturday\, Septembe

 l ages towards making a character and completing a short comic booklet t
