 the crowning of the American Idol winner in May\, Scrapdango is resurrec
 ting the ever-popular Crowned competition!\n\nHere are the rules:\n\nThe
  weekly challenges are mandatory. You will get a new challenge every Tue
 sday. You have until the following Monday at midnight EST to post to the
  gallery and link your creation in your sign in!\n\nAt the end of each r
 ound\, each DT member will assign a value 0-10 to your creation. These v
 alues will not be revealed. Each week we will sash the person that has t
 he favorite creation as voted on by the DT. This person will receive a p
 rize. (You can only win this 1 time during the competition) The only way
  you can be disqualified is to not complete the challenge within the all
 otted time.\n\nYou can also win points through our weekly games and othe
 r surprises! Keep an eye out for them. They will NOT be mandatory!\n\nWe
  will keep track of your points and the person with the most points at t
 he end of the game will be “CROWNED” queen! The queen will take home the
  big prize to be revealed later!\n\nAll creations must be newly created 
 for this competition and your original design. They may not be posted an
 ywhere else other than your personal blog for the duration of the game. 
 All layouts must be traditional paper layouts (no digital) and be 8 1/2 
 x 11 or 12 x 12. You are welcome to do a single or double layout!\n\nInt
 ernational contestants are welcome\, however\, if you win any prizes\, y
 ou will be given a $6 shipping credit. The remainder will be the respons
 ibility of the winner.\n\nQ&A:\n*Can I use a sketch for the challenges?

  new products that come out every month including a new paper line\, 6 n
 ew Collage sets\, digital stamps\, and other products that inspire scrap
 bookers\, card makeers and ATC artist. We are holding a Design Team sear
 ch. Our Design team is a little diffrent than most\, every member is sen
 t digital products each month. We will be taking submissions from now th
 rough June 1\, 2012.\n\nWe are seeking talented designers\, who are pass
 ionate about Paper crafting and inspiring our customers through their wo
 rks\, to add to our team. As a Design Team member\, you will serve a cri
 tical role in promoting our products and  website on message boards\, th
 e blogs\, magazines and representing the company where ever you can. You
  are welcome to be on other design teams and we ask that you supply us w
 ith one or more samples using our products each month. We welcome Intern
 ational & all paper crafting levels of applicants. \n\nAs a member of ou
 r Design Team\, you will be asked to:\n1. create at least one sample eac
 h month using the papers and collage sheets and/or digital stamps\, you 
 may submit as many as you want to each month though.\n2. Supply us with 
 a short bio and photo of yourself to be placed on our website.\n3. join 
 our online DT chat room\n4. agree to share your designs and mention us o
 n your blogs\, chat boards\, etc.\n\n\nAll projects made with our produc
 ts remain your property though we may ask to publish them in our book co
 llections.\n\nYour compensation will be:\n1. All of our products release
 d from July 2012-January 2013.\n \n2. Recognition on our website with a 
 link to your blog and your own design page.\n\n3. Incredible friendships

DESCRIPTION:Scrap n' Art is currently looking for submissions for our Ju
 ly 2012 issue. We are looking for your layouts\, cards\, altered art and
  out of the box creations that follow the theme "Love Your Country." In 
 the United States\, July is the most patriotic month of the year as Amer
 icans celebrate the country's independence.  However\, we know that Amer
 icans come from all over the world. Do you love red\, white and blue? Or
  perhaps your country's colors are a bit different. Incorporate the colo
 rs of your country's flag into your layouts\, cards\, altered art\, etc.
  Just be sure to let us know which country's colors you are highlighting
 ! Whatever the case may be\, show us how you display your patriotism in 
 your crafting. Digital\, traditional or hybrid\, anything goes! You can 
 also submit as many projects as your heart desires. To submit\, please f
 ollow the guidelines below. Deadline for all submissions is June 1\, 201
