Rules for High point pairs
· To accumulate points riders must ride with the same pair (can change ponies).

$10 per class / Maximum 2 classes / $5 Area Levy.
There will be two classes per height.
Classes: 50cm, 65cm, 80cm, 95cm
Start Time: 9:30am with the 50cm class. Courses will be available to be walked before this.
NZPCA Helmet regulations apply.
Back Protectors must be worn. No Dogs allowed.
Parking outside the grounds. Riders Ride at their Own Risk. Food and drink available to purchase.
This is a fun day out and as there are no official rules to this particular competition, we have made some up (see below).
Cheering and encouragement is allowed (in fact the more the merrier). No lead rein jumpers Please. Back Protectors must be worn for all classes. Gear must be safe. Huge smiles are allowed and generous pats for your horse are recommended at all times.

Colin Carson has his H.N.D. In the management of Thoroughbred horses.
After riding to International Level in the early days of MGA he trained the Northern Ireland PCC team for The Royal Windsor Horse Show and The Royal Dublin Horse Show in 1988. He was then asked to train the Northern Ireland team for the MGA World Teams Championships in 1993 as fate would have it the Republic of Ireland team arrived without their coach so he trained both teams at the Championships.
In 1998 Colin took on training the Northern Ireland team again and did so for 10 years, during which they mostly made the ‘A’ finals at the World Teams Championships and since the European Championships started they have made the ‘A’ finals in those. Colin stepped down in 2008 for personal reasons but was asked back in 2011 where the team got 4th in the World Teams Championships and 5th in the European Championships.

Colin Carson has his H.N.D. In the management of Thoroughbred horses.
After riding to International Level in the early days of MGA he trained the Northern Ireland PCC team for The Royal Windsor Horse Show and The Royal Dublin Horse Show in 1988. He was then asked to train the Northern Ireland team for the MGA World Teams Championships in 1993 as fate would have it the Republic of Ireland team arrived without their coach so he trained both teams at the Championships.
In 1998 Colin took on training the Northern Ireland team again and did so for 10 years, during which they mostly made the ‘A’ finals at the World Teams Championships and since the European Championships started they have made the ‘A’ finals in those. Colin stepped down in 2008 for personal reasons but was asked back in 2011 where the team got 4th in the World Teams Championships and 5th in the European Championships.

Tielcey Park’s goal is to run a super duper show for true pleasure horses and ponies, so that everybody attending has a great day out and enjoys their horses and ponies. That is after all why we ride… for pleasure!
This show has been organised for fun. If you are not having fun you will be cheered up by competitors and organisers! Please report anybody not having fun… the fun committee will do their best to cheer them up. Please support your fellow riders, we don’t offer prize money – you can win donated prizes and ribbons – but mainly it’s about celebrating the joy of riding such a lovely horse or pony. Ribbons may be bought from the secretary for $3 each if you miss out on a colour you really want.
Our aim is for everybody to take home lots of ribbons - we will guarantee everyone will go home with at least four ribbons. If you do not win four ribbons please come to the office after the show for your choice of ribbons (no charge for these.)
