Details: Iiconic photos of the South African Jazz Age, Apartheid era, and the early life of Nelson Mandela. The exhibit, in the Library's rotunda, displays the work of Jurgen Schadeberg, recognized around the world as a pioneer of South African photography. It also features native beadwork and information about literacy and healthcare programs involving Pasadena teachers and students who have traveled to Cape Town, South Africa on learning trips.
