Habitat for Humanity Work Party - Volunteer!
Social and Volunteer Opportunities
Our Center for Spiritual Living Team volunteers with Habitat for Humanity of Seattle/South King County on the last Saturday of most months.*
We provide a team of 12-15 to work on-site with Habitat staff, Habitat homeowners and often AmeriCorps volunteers, helping to build safe, decent housing. Youth ages 16-17 are welcome but must have a parent or guardian accompany them on the work site for the day, and are not permitted to use power tools. No children under the age of 16 are allowed on the worksite.
We gather on the work-site about 8:45am to start our workday, and the day ends about 4pm. Volunteers bring their own lunch (although often we will have a potluck!).
Join this fun, productive team and be amazed about what you and a team can accomplish! This is truly the spiritual practice of service!
Please know that all skill levels are welcome!

As announced earlier, our beloved Rev. Jackie Allen passed away the morning of Friday, January 20th.
Reverend Jackie Allen served the Center for Spiritual Living as the spiritual leader and teacher of the Practitioners, who in turn serve the spiritual community with affirmative prayer and spiritual coaching. Loved by her students, she was called an "artistic master teacher" and our "resident mystic." Steeped in a mystical Christian tradition, Rev. Jackie brought a deep reverence for all spiritual traditions, a love of Religious Science, and a gift of understanding the metaphysical meanings of biblical stories. She will be greatly missed.
You are invited to join us as we honor the life of this remarkable and deeply loved woman on Saturday, February 25th, 2:00pm, at the Celebration Hall of the Center for Spiritual Living. 5801 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle. Habitat for Humanity Work Party - Volunteer!
Social and Volunteer Opportunities
Our Center for Spiritual Living Team volunteers with Habitat for Humanity of Seattle/South King County on the last Saturday of most months.*
We provide a team of 12-15 to work on-site with Habitat staff, Habitat homeowners and often AmeriCorps volunteers, helping to build safe, decent housing. Youth ages 16-17 are welcome but must have a parent or guardian accompany them on the work site for the day, and are not permitted to use power tools. No children under the age of 16 are allowed on the worksite.
We gather on the work-site about 8:45am to start our workday, and the day ends about 4pm. Volunteers bring their own lunch (although often we will have a potluck!).
Join this fun, productive team and be amazed about what you and a team can accomplish! This is truly the spiritual practice of service!
Please know that all skill levels are welcome!
