You will leave CSS at 6:00am and travel to Outward Bound where you will head out for a day of dog sledding in the BWCAW. You will stop and have lunch on a remote lake and return to Outward Bound late in the afternoon and back to CSS by 8pm. Cost: Yes. Fee: $20.00 covers all fees and lunch. Due to the nature of this event and the variable temperatures we ask that you show up with several layers to help you regulate your temperature during both high and low activity times. OP! can provide you with additional layers, please ask for them when we meet to issue gear and collect waivers. AVOID WEARING COTTON… it is not a very good cold/wet weather insulator. Bring a pair of boots to wear. If you don’t need them we can lock them up at the OP! office.
Summary: Join us for a weekend of rock climbing and camping at Devils Lake State Park. We will have a pre-trip meeting to determine leaving times and coordinate rides to and from Devils Lake. Cost: Yes. Fee: $40 covers all transportation, gear, and some meals.
You will need to pay for meal while traveling and bring snacks and food to eat while we are at the climbing sites. Breakfast and dinners will be provided along with additional snacks.
