CANPrevent Colorectal Cancer

The decline has been attributed to increases in the use of colorectal cancer screening tests that allow the detection and removal of colorectal polyps before they progress to cancer. In some families, there is a gene responsible for a specific hereditary condition that predisposes to colon and other cancers.
