Cypress Lodge Heritage Tour
PuntaGorda
The Cypress Lodge Heritage tour gives visitors an opportunity to visit Fred Babcock's residence on the Crescent B Ranch: The Cypress Lodge. This tour allows visitors access to an area of the ranch previously off limits to members of the public. Begin your experience on a buggy similar to those custom-made for Mr. Babcock and used to show visitors his ranch, of which he was extremely proud, long before Babcock Wilderness Adventures began running eco-tours for the public. Upon your arrival at the lodge, enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and explore the residence yourself before you sit down to a fully catered lunch. Then, relax on the screened porch overlooking a view of the Telegraph Cypress Swamp only seen by a select few. This tour isn't just about the lodge. Hear stories about the lodge, watch a video of our cowboys in action, and even meet a resident of Telegraph Cypress Swamp up close. Once your time at the lodge comes to an end your adventure continues as you board your buggy and complete the Babcock Wilderness…

Venue: Babcock Wilderness Adventures. Cost: $74.95/Adult and $49.95/Kids (age 3-12). Ticket Phone: 1-800-500-5583.

They came to Lewis’ home, just outside of Oxford, to hear the man who had become a legend in his own lifetime. Despite his failing health, Lewis was in great form.
