If your answer is yes, we need you to be a part of CERT! (Community Emergency Response Team)
The Sandy Springs Fire Department is offering CERT training to our community. The goal is for SSFD to provide training on basic response skills to members of neighborhoods, community organizations, communities of faith and businesses. CERT members are then integrated into the emergency response in their area in times of need.
Each CERT member will learn basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following and event when professional responders have not yet arrived on the scene.

Georgia Teens Ride With P.R.I.D.E.(Parents Reducing Injuries and Driver Error)
This is a FREE, National Award-Winning two-hour course designed to help parents and their new (or soon to be) teen drivers, ages 14-16, learn what they need to do during the 40 hours of supervised practice driving time required by Georgia law. Rather than a technical hands-on driver training course, this program addresses driver attitude, knowledge and behavior of both the parent and new teen driver. There are no attendance restrictions.
