Back for year 2, Canyons will play host to the Sprint U.S. Snowboarding & Freeskiing Grand Prix! Come check out the world's best male and female Snowboardcross (SBX) and Skicross (SX) riders as they race head-to-head here at the resort. Top athletes from around the globe are expected to attend, including top U.S. athletes Nate Holland, Jonathan Cheever, Graham Watanabe, Faye Gulini and more!
The course is located primarily on Doc’s Run, off the Orange Bubble Express, with the finish line on the Ski Beach in the Resort Village. This event is free to the public at the finish, with a lift ticket required to access the competition using chairlifts. Guests can watch the event alongside the course on Doc’s Run. Come out and take a few turns while watching the event!

Abdominal strengthening, conventionally emphasized for back health, is important, but on its own is not enough to protect the back from injury. Nor is low-back strengthening. Back problems involve the whole body. Many factors can contribute, including tight or weak muscles, poor posture, obesity, emotional stress, and limited range of movement in the peripheral joints (shoulders and hips). In other words, no back problem can be isolated from the functioning of the rest of the body. Unlike traditional back care exercises, which isolate the parts of the body to be stretched or strengthened, yoga postures are designed to integrate and benefit the whole body. Monkey Business at Black Diamond Gymnastics is Back! Starting Sunday Jan. 22 and ending Sunday May 6.
For all children ages 1-5, Monkey Business is a 45min open play. Adults will supervise their children as they tumble around in the designated areas of the gym. You can usually find slippery slides, tubular tunnels, running ramps, balance beams, trampolines, and many more exciting things for the kids to play on (sorry adults, it's for the kids!) Great way to get out of the cold and be active.

Abdominal strengthening, conventionally emphasized for back health, is important, but on its own is not enough to protect the back from injury. Nor is low-back strengthening. Back problems involve the whole body. Many factors can contribute, including tight or weak muscles, poor posture, obesity, emotional stress, and limited range of movement in the peripheral joints (shoulders and hips). In other words, no back problem can be isolated from the functioning of the rest of the body. Unlike traditional back care exercises, which isolate the parts of the body to be stretched or strengthened, yoga postures are designed to integrate and benefit the whole body. By lengthening connective tissue, expanding ROM and improving posture, yoga can protect against back injury. Enjoy this gentle yoga class designed for those with issues pertaining to the back. Monkey Business at Black Diamond Gymnastics is Back! Starting Sunday Jan. 22 and ending Sunday May 6.
For all children ages 1-5, Monkey Business is a 45min open play. Adults will supervise their children as they tumble around in the designated areas of the gym. You can usually find slippery slides, tubular tunnels, running ramps, balance beams, trampolines, and many more exciting things for the kids to play on (sorry adults, it's for the kids!) Great way to get out of the cold and be active.

Abdominal strengthening, conventionally emphasized for back health, is important, but on its own is not enough to protect the back from injury. Nor is low-back strengthening. Back problems involve the whole body. Many factors can contribute, including tight or weak muscles, poor posture, obesity, emotional stress, and limited range of movement in the peripheral joints (shoulders and hips). In other words, no back problem can be isolated from the functioning of the rest of the body. Unlike traditional back care exercises, which isolate the parts of the body to be stretched or strengthened, yoga postures are designed to integrate and benefit the whole body. By lengthening connective tissue, expanding ROM and improving posture, yoga can protect against back injury. Enjoy this gentle yoga class designed for those with issues pertaining to the back. Ideas of memory, fragility, and interconnections traverse his work. Earthy colors, repeated patterns, and marks intermingle with hidden images of glyphs, plants, animals, and figures, to form layers of meaning. Rich textures, worked surfaces, and subtle light qualities come from intuitively working and reworking the surface. Monkey Business at Black Diamond Gymnastics is Back! Starting Sunday Jan. 22 and ending Sunday May 6.
For all children ages 1-5, Monkey Business is a 45min open play. Adults will supervise their children as they tumble around in the designated areas of the gym. You can usually find slippery slides, tubular tunnels, running ramps, balance beams, trampolines, and many more exciting things for the kids to play on (sorry adults, it's for the kids!) Great way to get out of the cold and be active.
Open to the public, it's just $5 per child!
There will be 2 sessions each Sunday. 10-10:45am and 11-11:45am! It's only here for a short time, so be sure to come in!
