New Age Flamenco at the Central Library

Summary: Local music group New Age Flamenco plays folk music from Latin American, Mediterranean, Gypsy and Russian cultures. Full Description: Today's concert features original compositions as well as music from the Gypsy Kings, Trio Rosenberg, Carlos Santana, Armik and more.
New Age Flamenco was created in 1998 by its leader, Oleg Ruvinov. The group often performs at various concerts and festivals.
Their music is steeped in Latin American, Mediterranean, Gypsy and Russian folk sounds, incorporating jazz and contemporary rhythmic musical elements.
